See your resume the way software and recruiters see it. Then fix what they'd miss.
Upload your resume and add the job posting. See which terms it's missing and which lines are hard to skim, with the reason for each. Fix them in your browser and watch the scores update, then download a PDF or Word file. Every keyword comes from the posting, and Guided edit never makes up numbers for your lines.
3 free analyses, 1 cover letter and 5 exports (PDF or Word) a month. No card needed. No auto-renew.
See it in 40 seconds.
A Sample resume is shown as software reads it and as a person skims it, then scored on Keyword coverage, Recruiter readability and Phrasing check, with 5 of 10 terms found and each line checked. Next: AI-written cover letter and follow-up email drafts, the Country check, then Start free.
The scores in the video come from the Sample page: a made-up resume scored against a made-up job posting, by the same rules your resume gets. The cover letter and follow-up email drafts it shows are AI-written. The video loads only when you press play.
Your resume is read twice.
First by tracking software, which turns your file into plain text and matches it against the job posting. Then by a person, who skims the top of each role before deciding whether to keep reading. We show you both, line by line.
How it works
- Check. Upload a PDF or Word resume and paste the job posting, a .txt file, or a link to it. See keyword coverage, recruiter readability and the phrasing check, each with its working.
- Fix. Open the editor: each flagged line shows its reason, and the scores update a moment after you stop typing. Or go step by step with Guided edit.
- Download. Save your changes and download a PDF or Word file: one column, standard headings, selectable text.
Drag the line — or switch readers on a phone — to compare the two reads.
Fix it where you see it.
Your file becomes text you can edit in the browser. The flags and the fix sit on the same screen.
Keyword coverage, live
- Paste the job posting in the editor. The terms found update a moment after you stop typing.
- In an analysis, pick where a term was found and the editor opens at that line.
- Add a missing term only if it's true for you. We never add it for you.
Recruiter readability, live
- Turn on flags and each weak line shows its reason underneath.
- Fix the line and the flag clears. Strong lines are marked too.
- Save when you're ready. While you have unsaved changes, the editor also saves them every few minutes.

The opening flag cleared. The number is yours to add; we never make one up.
Rather be walked through it?
Guided edit takes you section by section: contact, summary, each role, education and skills, then the Country check and a final review. Each section gets suggestions from fixed rules, not AI, and you decide what to change. At the end, save and download.
- Contact
- Summary
- Each role
- Education
- Skills
- Country check
- Review, save and download
Every flag comes with a reason.
Keyword coverage
- We compare your resume's text with the job posting.
- Each term is worth points; required terms are worth more. You see every term, found or missing, where it was found, and what it added.
- It doesn't judge fonts, colours or how impressive you sound.
Recruiter readability
- Each bullet is checked for a weak opening like "Responsible for" or "Helped", no number or result, buzzwords, and length over 30 words.
- Flagged lines show the exact rule that flagged them. Strong lines are marked too.
- It needs no job posting, and it updates as you edit.
Neither score predicts whether you'll get the job. We'll never pretend otherwise.
Leave with a clean file.
Download your resume as PDF or Word: one column, standard headings, selectable text. It's built from your last saved version, and the download panel says which one. Exports never include a photo, so if your original had one, the new file doesn't.
Free includes 5 exports (PDF or Word) a month. Passes include unlimited exports.
Applying in another country?
Resume norms differ by country. The Country check shows which personal details employers in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, the Gulf, Singapore, Japan or the Philippines may not expect, such as a birthdate, marital status, a photo or a full home address, and why. You decide what stays.
Flagged lines can be removed in one click; nothing changes until you save. Each flag links the source behind it. Guidance, not legal advice.
Read: Resume guidesThen write the cover letter.
Pick a job you've scored, or paste a new one, and we write a first draft of the cover letter from your saved resume, in a plain, professional voice. It's told to use only what your resume says, and we check each draft for invented numbers, but AI can still get things wrong. The letter is written by AI, so read it before you send it. Edit it here, restore the first draft if you change your mind, then copy it or download it. After you apply or interview, write a short follow-up or thank-you email the same way, then copy it into your own email. It is written by AI too, and we never send it for you.
Free includes 1 cover letter a month. Passes include 30 on the 30-day pass and 60 on the 90-day pass. Free includes 1 follow-up email a month; passes include 60 and 120.
What we won't do.
Add keywords you can't back up.
Missing terms are a list for you to check, never something we paste into your resume.
Make up numbers for your lines.
When a line needs a number, we tell you where it belongs. You supply the real one.
Renew anything.
Passes are one-time. When a pass ends, you're back on Free and nothing is charged.
Keep what you delete.
Delete a resume and its file, versions and analyses go with it.

See full pricing"75% of resumes are rejected by software." We couldn't find the data behind it.
We looked for where that figure comes from. A 2020 blog post says it traces back to Preptel, a company it says closed in 2013, but it cites other articles, not the data.1 We couldn't find the data, and the two sources we checked don't support the figure. One of them, Greenhouse's help page, says it can auto-reject based on answers to some application questions.2 Other tracking systems work differently, and we haven't checked them all.
So why do keywords matter? Because recruiters can search their tracking system for skills, and a resume that doesn't use the posting's words may not show up in the results. That's the part we check.

Questions
- Can you guarantee I'll pass the ATS?
- No one can, and our scores don't predict it. Applicant tracking systems (ATS) are set up differently by every employer, and most decisions are made by people. We show you what's missing and what's hard to skim; we can't tell you whether you'll get an interview or the job.
- Can I edit my resume here?
- Yes. Your file is turned into text you can edit. Fix lines in the editor, where the scores update a moment after you stop typing, or go step by step with Guided edit. Save your changes, then download a PDF or Word file.
- Is Guided edit AI?
- No. Guided edit takes you through your resume section by section, and its suggestions come from fixed rules, the same for everyone, and so does every score. The only places AI is used are the tips on an analysis, the cover letters and the follow-up emails. Each analysis labels its tips General or AI-written. AI-written tips that mention numbers found in neither your resume nor the posting are dropped.
- What file types work?
- PDF and DOCX, up to 20 MB. We read the text in the file, so a scanned PDF (a picture of text) can't be read. Save it again from the original document as a text PDF or a DOCX.
- Can I download my edited resume?
- Yes, as PDF or Word: one column, standard headings, selectable text. Each download is one export. Free includes 5 exports a month; passes include unlimited exports.
- What happens when my pass ends?
- You're back on Free with 3 analyses, 1 cover letter and 5 exports a month. It also includes 1 follow-up email a month. Your resumes, saved edits and past analyses stay in your account. Nothing is charged.
